U-Channel 180° Post Caps

U-channel 180-degree post caps available in 3 ½”, 5 ½”,12”, 18" and 24" slots for flat and extruded sign blades. The blade sits 180 degrees to post flange. Brackets are drilled and tapped for 5/16" set screws; on the opposite side, a 9/16" clearance hole is drilled for bolt-through installation.

Flat vs. Extruded Blade Compatibility

Flat blades: Standard thickness signs suitable for most applications. Lighter weight and cost-effective for general street signage.
Extruded Blades: Thicker, heavy-duty signs with enhanced durability. Recommended for high-wind areas and premium installations.

Installation Requirements

Hardware needed:

  • Standard set screws (included with pre-drilled and tapped brackets)
  • Standard Allen Key for installation
  • Optional: Vandal-proof set screws with specialized T-Handle tool for enhanced security
